The climb was steep and our buns and thighs were burning by the time we got to the top but we were happy to get a little more toned and hopefully fit in more with the locals.
Fortunately the view was worth the hike. We could see for miles in all directions and got a birds eye view of some of other Rio's attractions like Christ the Redeemer and Flamingo Park.
We have also been getting to know the city a little better and are more comfortabel venturing out on our own. This morning we had to find our way to the classroom which is across town and slightly difficult to navigate. But, we all made it on our own and have all began to venture farther
and farther into the city.
